Your life is your own. I want you to read that sentence until it sinks all the way down inside your gut and meets every last impulse that tells you to put your intuition on pause, to place yourself second, to squeeze and bend and break into the molds of what everyone else wants you to be.
Your life is your own. I want it to pass through your head so many times it slowly clears out the debris of your fear. I want you to meditate on it until you realize that you are not too strange, you just have the courage to be your true self, you are not too different, you just have the courage to follow your own heart, you are not unworthy, you are just honest about the very natural human experience of feeling unworthiness.
Every person alive wishes to embody these very same forms of freedom. They are not judging you, they are expressing the parts of themselves they’ve judged into silence.
Your life is your own, and it always will be. You must find the courage to claim it, or it will pass by you untouched, a glimmering, lost potential of all that could have been. (Not my words).
Despite what you may believe, you can disappoint people and still be good enough. You can make mistakes and still be capable and talented. You can let people down and still be worthwhile and deserving of love.
Everyone has disappointed someone they care about. Everyone messes up, lets people down, and makes mistakes.
Not because we’re inadequate or fundamentally inept, but because we’re imperfect and fundamentally HUMAN. Expecting anything different is setting yourself up for failure. Also remember; committing the same mistake twice is not the sign of a healthy mind. Keep that in mind & keep moving forward. (Not my words).
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Stopping a mother from dropping her kid to school is the worst kinda crap you can slap on someone in the name of protecting environment. Sometimes people go bit too far with these environmental protection related protests. You aren’t allowed to deteriorate normal people’s life. Insulate Britain, protest in front of government officials or government offices where words can reach the right place.)
Each of us leads unique lives with experiences that nobody else will ever completely understand. Your story holds so many valuable lessons that can help inspire, teach, and motivate someone else. Should you choose to share it!?! In life, I have heard so many different stories. Just by listening, I learned so many different things. I’m so thankful I found the courage to share my story as well and talk about what I’ve been through. Not only has it helped me, but it has helped give perspective and strength to so many other people, my people to be precise. I encourage you to do the same.
Share your story with someone who is worth your time. You never know how one sentence of your life story could inspire someone to rewrite their own. No matter what you have been through in life, good or bad, don’t take it for granted. There are lessons in every moment of our lives.
Don’t worry about what people think of you or about the way they try to make you feel. If people want to see you as a good person, they will. If they want to see you as a bad person, absolutely nothing you do will stop them. Ironically, the more you try to show them your good intentions, the more reason you give them to knock you down if they are commited to misunderstanding you.
Keep your head up high and be confident in what you do. Be confident in your intentions and keep your eyes ahead instead of wasting your time on those who want to drag you back. Because you can’t change people’s views, you have to believe that true change for yourself comes from within you, not from anyone else. STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF & JUST YOURSELF, THAT’S ENOUGH.
(That post on 10-April was scheduled before a year. Don’t take it seriously, things change. That’s the reason i deleted it.)
Your intelligence, education, qualification, looks & skills are worth nothing if your character is not in sync with life. To earn the legitimacy of being a valuable asset to your work & society, you need to keep on being a TRUTHFUL YOU at every phase of life.
