Someone once told me to always live for the little things in life.
Live for 5am sunrises and 5pm sunsets where you’ll see colours in the sky that don’t usually belong.
Live for road trips and bike rides with music in your ears and the wind in your hair.
Live for days when you’re surrounded by your favourite people who make you realise that the world is not a cold, harsh place.
Live for the little things because they will make you realise that this is what life is about, this is what it means to be alive.

7 TYPES OF NEGATIVITY TO KILL:

1. PERFECTIONISM.
Trying to achieve something that’s literally unattainable will only result in you feeling “less than”.

2. JUDGEMENT OVER YOURSELF AND OTHERS.
When you are judgemental, you are only focusing on the negative qualities in yourself and others.

3. SELF-DOUBT.
Self-doubt is a weed that will take over your life if you don’t kill it at the root.

4. ASSUMING THE WORST WILL HAPPEN.
If you never think things will be better, they won’t be.
This removes hope.

5. WORRY.
Worrying changes nothing except your health and mental state.

6. COMPLAINING.
When you focus on the negative things, you are really setting yourself up for never being content or happy.

7. TRYING TO CONTROL EVERYTHING.
You can’t control everything and when you try and inevitably fail, you will only blame yourself.

A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

The small things in life don’t need to be worried and stressed about so much.
The alarm can be fixed.
The tire can be replaced.
The coffee can be refilled.
The parking ticket can be paid.
The keys can be found.
The to-dos can get to-done.
You can get enough sleep.
You can get some food.
Maybe a snickers or ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Your life is great.
You just have to allow it to be.

People don’t make you angry, you allow the anger to dwell within you.
Circumstances don’t upset you, you allow yourself to get upset.
You choose to worry,
you choose to criticize,
you choose to blame,
and you choose to complain.
No one else decides this for you.
Choose the bright side & remember your HAPPINESS is your responsibility.

You spend your whole life worrying about what other people think about you only to realise when you’re old, no one was thinking about you in the first place.
