We always hear “Slow and steady wins the race”, and though I love this idea. I actually love the idea of slowing down to savor the little moments in life even more. Living in our fast-paced world today, it’s easy to get into a busy routine and sometimes we literally don’t have time to catch our breath. Not only is this not healthy for our bodies and our stress levels, but it takes the joy out of whatever we’re doing.
I’ve found that time goes quickly, and if I don’t stop and slow down, I miss the little moments. So whatever place you’re rushing to or goal you are rushing to get, remember to enjoy the process too, otherwise what’s the point?
When you start to get wrapped up in your busy life, pause, take ten deep breaths, and try meditating or doing something that calms you down. STAY STRONG & STAY CONSISTENT WITH THE WAY YOU ARE. (Not my words).
Your attitude is what determines your day. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. The small things in life don’t need to be worried and stressed about so much. The alarm can be fixed. The tire can be replaced. The coffee can be refilled. The parking ticket can be paid. The keys can be found. The to-dos can get to-done. You can get enough sleep. You can get some food. Maybe a snickers or ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. Your life is great. You just have to allow it to be.
People don’t make you angry, you allow the anger to dwell within you. Circumstances don’t upset you, you allow yourself to get upset. You choose to worry, you choose to criticize, you choose to blame, and you choose to complain. No one else decides this for you. Choose the bright side & remember your HAPPINESS is your responsibility. (Previously posted it way back, not my words).
Everyday that you show up, even when it’s hard and when you don’t feel like it, you are making a difference. So, even on the hard days, even on the days where you’d like to hang back and not show up, REMEMBER: The world needs the magic inside of you. Your work matters. Your consistency matters. Your ideas matters. Your presence matters. So, keep it up. YOUR WORK ALWAYS MATTERS.
Work/Duty/Responsibilities first, Family comes next, God/religion comes last. That’s the Indian values my parents taught me. Yes. Google, IBM, Microsoft, MasterCard, Adobe, Micron Technology & 87 such to follow, CEOs of all these companies are INDIANS. If you know any Indian who’s currently not living in India, high chances you know them because he/she is a doctor/engineer/lawyer/scientist/businessman or politician in rare cases. And this is just a beginning. Indians are the richest immigrant community in USA/UK/Canada/Germany/Italy/Poland & Dubai. This didn’t happen overnight. It’s an effort of past 35-40 years which is paying off right now. Respect to those parents who worked overtime to send their kids for studying engineering & medicines. Our values/teachings goes back to couple thousand years. Education is the only medium which can create a better healthier standard of living. Very few people know my blood goes back to the state called ODISHA in INDIA. HAPPY 75TH INDEPENDENCE DAY to all INDIANS. (Most of my posts are scheduled a month advance. I am typing this post today 6.55pm. Thanks to all who joined our live broadcast. New peanut protein cups will go on sale 17-September-2021 onwards.)
No one knows what you need to do more than you do. Cry when you need to, It’s relieving. Laugh when you need to, It’s healing. Sit alone half an hour when you need to, It’s necessary. Surround yourself with random friends when you need to, It’s eye-opening. Especially listening to someone carefully is a dose of nectar to our eager mind & heart. Living by your needs is not easy, no one said it was. But a fact that you should always remember is this: “You are more worthy of being taken care of than anyone around you. And I don’t mean the superficial kind of care. I mean the care that your soul needs”.
Everyone around you is struggling somehow. Everyone around you is trying to reach a goal, a destination, or a dream. Just as you might not expose your worries to the world, no one else has to. Remember that you are a work in progress. You are not perfect & you are not expected to be PERFECT.
Do not allow the fear of falling to stop you from jumping. Do not allow the fear of responsibility to stop you from committing. Do not allow the fear of exposure to stop you from shining. (Not my words).
Be a walking contradiction. Be strong and soft. Be deep and lighthearted. Be beautiful and intelligent. Be confident and humble. Be someone with a quick wit and a cheap sense of humor. Be content climbing a mountain and enjoying the sweetness of doing nothing.
The world may try and classify you as one thing because that is far easier to understand than a person who has a little bit everything in them. And you may feel misunderstood for a while, but just remember your people can only find you if you’re brave enough to be yourself. There are parts of you that you have yet to discover. There is greater love that you have yet to find. There experiences that are are far beyond your imagination. And it’s all waiting for you. Life is waiting for you. So set aside your expectations and go explore it. Life is fun, let it be. (Not my words)
