I’ve been to parties where I’ve seen these really gorgeous girls hiding in the corners afraid to talk to anyone. I can tell they’re insecure. Maybe they don’t think they’re pretty enough or they don’t think they have the right outfit on, but it immediately dims their inner light. To me there’s nothing more attractive than someone owning who they are in the skin they’re in.
Find what makes you comfortable and confident. Remember how special you are and wear it with pride.
Confidence starts with beauty. Beauty begins from comfort within. (Not my words.)
When someone treats you like you’re just one of many options, help them narrow their choice by removing yourself from the equation. Sometimes you have to try not to care, no matter how much you do. Because sometimes you can mean almost nothing to someone who means so much to you. It’s not pride – it’s self-respect.
Don’t expect to see positive changes in your life if you surround yourself with negative people. Don’t give part-time people a full-time position in your life. Know your value and what you have to offer, and never settle for anything less than what you deserve.
Two major discomforting traits of most people; EXCESSIVE PRIDE & INSECURITY. Let’s talk about both little bit. Purpose is to identify & get rid of these ASAP, i am talking this to both reader & writer.
Excessive pride. Pride isn’t necessarily a terrible thing. It can bring you confidence and self-assurance which are two great qualities that can help you lead a happy life. However pride can also cause destruction through overconfidence and resistance to learning. If your pride is extreme, it can ruin your personal and professional relationships. It’s not uncommon for people to let their pride prevent them from acknowledging their mistakes and to learn from them whether it’s a project at the office or an argument with a friend. It’s essential to keep your pride in check and get rid of any excess that is no longer serving you.
Insecurity. Insecurity has no benefits, it often arises from judgment or criticism of yourself and other people. It causes chronic unhappiness and becomes a burden on your life. As long as you are the most honest and authentic version of yourself, no one has the right to judge you for it and that goes for you too. There is nothing wrong with living your life the way you want to live. If self-doubt is something you picked up along the way and it’s something you can drop whenever you choose. Your friends and family love you for you. When you doubt their respect to faction or acceptance, you are doing a disservice not only to yourself but to your loved ones as well.
It took me plenty of courage & strong will-power to become a human from a disastrous monster on the run. I know, I am True to myself & everyone else. I dreamed a life without lies, all who fit there are onboard already.
Focus on building your SELF-ESTEEM, which will strengthen your SELF-RESPECT.
We humans don’t understand the difference between self-respect & EGO, which results in hurting self. EGO & PRIDE will get crushed by you or someone else someday, they are flighty in nature & help with nothing. Focus on being a TRUE you.
