You deserve the affection that you kept trying to pour into others. You deserve the same motivation that you tried to inspire in others. You deserve the high of happy, without the low of sadness. You deserve the joy of being spoiled, without the catch of having to repay. You deserve the relaxation of trust, without the paranoia of betrayal. You deserve to be confident, without the reminder to be humble. You deserve to look at your reflection with eyes of awe, not judgment. You deserve to be held forever, not for a night. You deserve to be first, second, and third. You deserve to have everything you want. You deserve this power. It is who you are and who you will always be. BE YOU FOR THE SAKE OF YOURSELF. VIBE WITH YOUR TRIBE.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. 20 rules for young men, i guess it’s a must watch for everyone irrespective of gender.)
Your words can be more healing than any kind of medicine. They can be more toxic than any kind of poison. They can ease a mind of its nagging questions. They can relieve a heart from its doubts. They can free a heart from the chains that keep it holding on and that make it fear letting go. They can spring hope into a deserted heart. They can shatter a soul barely holding on to the pieces that make it strong. They can be a shelter for the broken and a canon of motivation for those who need confidence. They can build mountains of confidence and build stairs to those dreams that hide above the clouds. They can dig holes into the darkest and deepest of scars. They can strike happiness into the souls in most need of it, and They can strike sadness into the souls of those most far away from it.
So, before you speak, ask yourself if your words are true. If they are not, then you are fooling the hopeless into hope that won’t last & you are also lying to yourself. You are breaking down walls temporarily that will be built even higher afterwards. Say what the truth and genuineness in your heart need to say. Say no more. Your words are equally powerful & destructive, measure it before saying something.
The meaning of Karma is in the intention. The intention behind action is what matters. Those who are motivated only by desire for the fruits of action are MISERABLE, for they are constantly anxious about the results of what they do.
Someway or other we all have this attitude of “Discounting the positives”. I am talking about not taking responsibility for the good things of our life. It’s a form of negative bias in thinking. This thought pattern is different than ignoring or overlooking the positivity in our life. Instead when good things happen, you might believe that it was luck or explain it away a circumstance. When you don’t acknowledge that your success is yours, you’ll start to feel a lack of control over your life.
If you fail to recognize how your hard work, good decision and skills help you accomplish your goals, your levels of motivation will decrease over time. This is known as learned helplessness. Cherish yourself with some positive vibe time after time.
