True me.. Tap-904..

A lot of people are skeptical about giving a homeless person money.
One thing you can do is buy a homeless person a meal or a bottle of water so at least you know they will get something nutritious to eat or drink.
Last week i saw a homeless man and remembered that I had a protein bar & a pack of biscuits in my backpack.
I went up to him and said, “I don’t want to offend you, but if you’re hungry, I’d love to give this to you.”
He reacted like he had won the lottery.
I couldn’t believe how something so simple could make him so happy.

Go out of your way to help a homeless person, or someone else in need, today.
We lead a busy life without giving enough space to humility & humbleness in our hearts.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself.
It’s thinking of yourself less.

Sunday story time.. 04.

This post/story is about basic human decency. Yesterday i came across a horrible person, who misbehaved a small restaurant owner while paying for some eggy bread, pork pie & tea. He was short of some cash even though he came with entire family in a BMW X5. His argument started escalating over Apple pay, that too in a small & new cash only eatery. Later he went to ATM, withdrew some cash & paid for his food. According to his words; if you aren’t accepting Apple pay, you should go back to country side & he was some corporate employee for BAE systems. The words he used against that restaurant owner made me question his upbringing & it also made me realise what an highly educated asshole looks like. We live in a materialistic world where we literally judge someone looking at their clothes/house/car/phone/financial status, the last comes EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, PERSONALITY & BEHAVIOUR, that too only if we enjoy a healthy interaction. So, Why these so-called few corporate employees belittle street food truck or small restaurant owners in their head!!

Because i mentioned these words “Materialistic world” & “Corporate Employee”, let’s talk about the money part first. Any engineer/banker/software developer/analyst with 3-5 years of job experience makes easy 95-130k salary per annum, no matter it’s Dollars/Euros/Pounds. Social security+Insurance+Tax, combined all are around 38-42% of entire income in most developed countries. Now monthly in hand salary comes close to 5200-6700 Dollars/Euros/Pounds.

Let’s talk about the small scale business owner who runs a food truck or a street food restaurant, here an easy quick meal costs 7-10 Dollars/Euros/Pounds. It can be a Full English breakfast/Tacos/Pastrami Sandwich/Doner kebab or a salad with tea/coffee/any kind of drink. They receive 80-90 such orders during lunch hour, mostly regular customers during a rush hour. And casually another 80-90 orders at evening because that’s the preferable time to cater tourists/students/kids/young people/couples. Total around 170 orders of 7-10 bucks food product, gross 1500 bucks everyday. Sunday everything is closed. So it comes to 1500×26=39000 worth of sales in a month, not the profit amount. If you deduct the raw ingredients+gas+rent+electricity+3-4 employees salary from that 39000, that small scale business owner is still left with easy 9000-12000 Dollars/Euros/Pounds in his hands every month.

Tried to show you an easy estimation in both scenarios. I am saying it from my experience. I know a half Indian brit who lives in Berlin, he started a ghost kichen sourdough pizzeria in Alexanderplatz in the middle of pandemic. Now it’s a small yet busy full blown cafe. His cafe is open only 4 hours every evening, but he makes way more than my salary. Even in terms of money, a small scale business owner enjoys a better financial stability compared to any employee. The good part is, EVERY BUSINESS OWNER IS HIS OWN BOSS. They work their ass off for their family, so that family can enjoy a life worth calling LIFE. I have studied 4 years bachelor’s in engineering, then MBA, now i am a PhD research scholar (still a student), i also have 4+ years of job experience as a data/research analyst & software developer. I bet that person who started a small mediocre petty drama must have studied something like i did. And most of the time people who work at multinational companies imagine they enjoy the best lifestyle compared to rest, which can be true. But does that allow anyone to be a jackass on streets? We can’t cure certain issues by cursing & shouting. Education is not just there for earning a qualification. If education isn’t making you humble, grateful & a better human, then you are simply a waste of time & energy for society.

(Forgot to schedule this post on Sunday. When i mentioned yesterday above, i am talking about an incident from Saturday. The restaurant owner i mentioned is one of my friends from A-level days.)

Let me tell you something funny today.
Now a days we all hear once in a while someone random comes online in YouTube or any other social media & says, “You don’t need a school/college/university degree to be successful in life”.
Even Elon Musk once said “You can learn almost anything from internet for free”.
My question is; “As a human & society as whole, do we value free things?”.
I totally agree you can learn any skill for free if you have a strong willpower.
But that doesn’t take away the fact that a good school/college/university education is important.
Rich people don’t want competition. It’s beneficial for them if a major chunk of population stays under qualified, cheap labour you know.

Let me bust all these crap today.
Roughly 7.9 billion human population in our world & 92% adults don’t have a college/university degree.
And the rest 8% people who have a college/university degree own 74% of entire world’s wealth.
So don’t take advice from people who haven’t walked that path.
In most cases what happens; even getting into a good university or any ivy league school is a big deal here, that says your mind is ready for the big game.

Education is necessary.
Qualification is important.
Skills you learned will take you places.

Nobody’s going to do your life for you.
You have to do it yourself,
whether you’re rich or poor,
out of money or raking it in,
the beneficiary of ridiculous fortune or terrible injustice.
And you have to do it no matter what is true.
No matter what is hard.
No matter what unjust, sad, sucky things have befallen you.
Self pity is a dead-end road.
You make the choice to drive down it.
It’s up to you to decide to stay parked there or to turn around and drive out.

LIFE ITSELF IS A PRIVILEGE.
BUT TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST, WELL THAT IS A CHOICE. (Not my words).

Get honest with people about who you are,
what you want,
and how you expect to be treated.
Standards only scare off the people not meant for you.

Some people have a problem,
they can’t digest respect & good vibes.
Stay away from those,
such people don’t deserve your LOVE or ATTENTION.

My bestfriend DEMI asked me yesterday “whether i will stop hanging out with her after i get a girlfriend/partner/wife or someone significant?”. I am answering this with few lines, so that she can bookmark & read it as many times she wants. I hide nothing from no one.

Here’s my answer:
My blood’s origin goes back to an eastern state of India called ODISHA. Since childhood i was taught few things which are embedded in my mind now:

1. Study, learn, get qualified & make lots of money with that knowledge. Because society is either judgemental or materialistic which respects power of MONEY & KNOWLEDGE.
2. Live for love, respect, family, and LOVE+RESPECT towards family. That’s why we have huge families.
3. MONEY you made mustn’t be used to flex in front of others. Use it to keep your family happy.
4. Invest in gold & land, this is the big kicker. That’s the reason most Indian men crave to buy more than one property & Indian women are obsessed with 24 carat pure gold jewelleries.😂 That’s all.

So one day when i enter a stable relationship, the sole purpose is to start my own family someday soon or sooner. I know whom & what to prioritise. But remember one thing dumb bitch, i feel like i know you since my past life. You are not just my bestfriend, i consider you family. You will always have 24/7 access to my house, my lap, a piggyback ride to beach & access to me no matter it’s pouring/sunny/snowing. Don’t get emotional DEMI, we are not discussing anything about this post during facetime.

Mama once said;
“We don’t just entertain friends/relationships outta fun, we build them over time, we respect them & we keep them. That’s why never accept or serve discounted garbage”.

I was in my teen days.
I was still getting pocket money from parents.
I wasn’t able to understand those heavy/right words.
I thought my mum was talking about not buying discounted clothes/stuffs or wasting money with friends during weekend trips.
Most of my friends know i hate discounted clothes now too.
In fact, i don’t have a single piece of clothing from any fast fashion brands.

Coming closer to my 30, now i am understanding that she told me not to hangout with people who have discounted/cheap personality/approach/attitude/mindset, It took me almost 14 years to figure out the real meaning behind those wise words.
Being a MAN means progression of understanding, knowledge, acceptance & virtue while developing better habits.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Watch it to understand how your shopping habits are shaping a climate & humanitarian disaster. There’s a reason I never buy clothes from H&M, Zara, TK Maxx or any store/brand with 50% discount board. I buy clothes which cost at least a hundred quid or more, and i wear them for ages. They stay with me because, I know I have spent enough money to buy them. And i fully remember how much I paid, I have a photographic memory. Fun part is, I still have t-shirts, jackets, hoodies & sneakers from my 8th grade & engineering college days which fit perfectly even today. FYI, I am a sneakerhead & my love for watches is something divine.)

MONEY. Beggar, daily wage workers, salaried employees, businessman, stock market investors, everyone makes money & everyone wants money.

Beggar wants money right right now.
Daily wage workers want money at the end of their workday, let’s say daily payments.
Employees work because they want monthly salary.
Businessman invests money & waits for few months to recover his investment with some profit on top.
Share market investor invests & waits for years to see where his investment heading next.

Now, let’s talk about the fun part in it.
There are only two winners in this money game.
1. The businessman who’s is building wealth while working for himself.
2. The stock market investor is building generational wealth. Here i am referring those who invest in hedge funds & multi-bagger stocks.

In other two cases of employees & begger, the person who wants money earliest is the poorest one.
Actually in all 4 scenarios, the person who waits the longest for MONEY is also the RICHEST, he is the one who has the highest amount of PATIENCE.
Never run behind EASY/QUICK MONEY, the outcome will be devastating.
Urge towards EASY/QUICK MONEY is the reflection of cheap mindset, lack of knowledge & major character flaws in a person’s PERSONALITY.
Learn about how MONEY works in our current world & have PATIENCE in learning.
Same i can say for education, relationships & weightloss journey/fitness as well, your PATIENCE is the only determining factor.
God has a perfect timing for everything; never early, never late.
It takes a little patience and faith.
But it’s worth the wait, always.

(This video got something to do with the post above. If you have patience, watch it. And the title of this video is: WHY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE AGGRESSIVELY PATIENT!.)

Be strong, be kind, be free.
Do things that make you proud of yourself.
Surround yourself with people who bring out your best qualities.
And distance yourself from the people who do the opposite.
Hangout with people who are ready to exchange knowledge with enough understanding about what they are saying & why.
For example;
Don’t just follow someone’s words because they said “Investing in stock market/real estate/crypto will make you money/rich”.
95% of these people don’t even know how to multiply 12*13 without a calculator.
Do you really think such dumbfucks can advice anyone on finance?
Forget finance, if someone is saying something without knowing enough about it, that person is a complete fake nut.
Stay away from such morons.
Fun story: Most people who invest in bitcoin think it’s more like a virtual currency, but hardly few know it was designed as a medium of transaction. It’s more like Western Union Money Transfer.

Be true, true to yourself and true to your morals.
Stand up for yourself.
Don’t let people take advantage of your kindness and soft heart.
Don’t take shit from anyone, and don’t put yourself down.
Believe in yourself and believe in your journey.
Be good to yourself.
Be unapologetically you.
Embrace your imperfections.
Accept the fact that when you grow, sometimes you lose people and that’s okay.
Celebrate your every success and learn from failure.
Learn to accept that, first you have to learn a lot about anything & everything before jumping in.
And most importantly, never ever let anything stand in the way of the person you are becoming.
BE A TRUE YOU. (Not my words).

We’ve been infected with this idea that LOVE is an emotion only felt between two people.
But love is universal.
It’s an energy,
a contagious force,
a beautiful gift.

To offer money to a homeless man is to love.
To smile at a stranger is love.
To be grateful,
to be hopeful,
to be consistent,
to be faithful,
to be truthful,
to be considerate,
to be brave,
to be forgiving,
to be proud of yourself,
is also to LOVE.

First have a lust towards a beautiful life.
I am talking about your OWN LIFE.
Never obsess about chasing love.
Chase goals.
Chase dreams.
Chase the behaviors that are going to make you better.

You don’t chase love;
you allow that to find you by accident,
and when it finds you on accident,
you’ll know that is was supposed to find you PURPOSEFULLY.

(This paragraph got nothing to do with the post above. It’s my movie review for FREEGUY. Watched in ODEON IMAX, the movie & experience both were amazing. One of the best movie theater i visited so far. Friends said, it’s a great one time watch, but i will definitely watch it again. Don’t miss it. My friends also suggested it’s even better in 4DX 3D. The only part i didn’t like was my bestie DEMI ate 4 chocolate cupcakes, a litre of cold drinks & a whole large tub of popcorn like a hungry pig. I must agree, most girls who look good are some kinda sorcerers. It’s impossible to look fly while eating that much amount of garbage.)

Date her who walks you till your car.
Date her who dares to steal your hoodie in front of your face.
Date her who wants to meet your parents, and is respectful towards them.
Date her who respects your siblings and family members.
Date her who’s kind to animals, its a reflection of how she’ll treat usual people.
Date her who makes you smile.
Date her who looks confident with or without makeup.
Date her who will listen to your complain or accomplishments.
Date her who doesn’t force you to do things you don’t want to.
Date her who will come hang out and cuddle just cause she can.
Date her who loves you through the good and the bad.
Date her who has seen you angry, happy, sad, and still feels for you.
Date her who has a hunger for SUCCESS & hunger for more beyond that.
Date her who actually utilises her time to the fullest, so that she can value your TIME.
Now you know you aren’t entertaining someone boring/sluggish.

Life can easily remain exciting happy happening even in a relationship if you are dealing with a stronger individual, stronger in finance & faith.
