Pay more attention to what stirs your heart. Pay attention to the music that makes you want to cry, or dance, or jump right out of your skin. Pay attention to what makes you happy truly happy, the kind of happy that drips from your bones, the kind of happy that gives you hope, and makes you believe that you have a reason to be here. Pay attention to the things that make you laugh, the things that make you smile. Really focus on figuring out what compels you. Really focus on discovering the aspects of the world that interest you and challenge you and make you want to learn and grow.
You have to pay attention, To the things that make you believe in being alive. To the people that support you and build you up and make you feel like you’re understood in a world that can sometimes feel like a haunted and hurtful place. You have to pay attention to the life you want to create for yourself. Because you are in charge of your own happiness. You are in charge of who you become. So, if something makes your soul feel like it is finally home, pay attention to it. Whether it is a job, or an idea, or a goal, or a person, or a place, just follow what makes you feel alive. Just make your life your own.
You deserve the affection that you kept trying to pour into others. You deserve the same motivation that you tried to inspire in others. You deserve the high of happy, without the low of sadness. You deserve the joy of being spoiled, without the catch of having to repay. You deserve the relaxation of trust, without the paranoia of betrayal. You deserve to be confident, without the reminder to be humble. You deserve to look at your reflection with eyes of awe, not judgment. You deserve to be held forever, not for a night. You deserve to be first, second, and third. You deserve to have everything you want. You deserve this power. It is who you are and who you will always be. BE YOU FOR THE SAKE OF YOURSELF. VIBE WITH YOUR TRIBE.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. 20 rules for young men, i guess it’s a must watch for everyone irrespective of gender.)
I am happy when I eat fresh fruit, when I burst out laughing, when I discover a new song, when I finish a good book, when I wake up and feel relaxed. I’m glad to have friends, family, a home, food when I’m hungry, hot water when I shower. I love being able to live and see the seasons change, to have gifts at christmas and at my birthday, to travel sometimes, to have a good education and a great access to culture. I’m flattered when people compliment me, when people smile at me, when people are polite to me.
There are so many things that make life so simple and easy and I will always think about them more than all the bad things that will happen to me. I do not have time to be sad every day and ungrateful. I have every reason in the world to be happy. Take life day by day and be grateful for the little things. Don’t get caught up in what you can’t control. Focus on the positive.
Stop worrying about other people understanding you. Get in touch with yourself instead. Focus on what makes you happy, what makes your soul feel at peace. You are your biggest commitment. So start loving your flaws, your awkwardness, your weirdness, your intensity, your vulnerability, & your everything.
Life becomes so much more fulfilling when you are just simply yourself. The world keeps spinning whether people understand you or not. So why not make this next trip around the sun only about you!!
Then stop letting the smallest things ruin your whole entire day. If you’re bored with your daily routine, do something unexpected. Stop complaining about how alone you are when you’re surrounded by people who actually care about you. Forget all the drama and let go of all the grudges you’ve been holding. Stop wasting time lingering over all that you could have, should have and would have done. Stop spending your days thinking of how much better you could do. Stop longing for something that has been and always will be out of your reach. Just live the days as they come, stay consistent with your approach. Wake up every morning and smile at the wonderful day that awaits you. Take a risk for once, calculated risks if it’s possible. Let yourself be happy, because you deserve it.
Love someone exactly as they are, and they’ll transform into the best possible version of who they could be. Love yourself exactly as you are, and you will do the same. HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE. CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY.
You deserve happiness. I mean real happiness. The kind of happiness that makes your heart fill with warmth. And you deserve to feel what it feels like to be fulfilled. To feel like the world isn’t against you. To feel like you aren’t constantly treading water just to keep from drowning. More than anything, you deserve to be okay.
And I know it’s hard to hear this, especially when the world around isn’t doing great, especially when you are so far away from loving yourself. But I still want you to know, “because one day, you are going to feel great again, one day you are going to feel happy again”. It’s just a matter of time. Sometimes the best thing you can do is, not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, keep on doing you and have faith that everything will work out for the best. TIME heals everything.
Stay away from people with negative vibe & toxic mindset. Here is a HOW TO or WHOM TO;
1. Entertain those who exchange attention & mutual admiration.
2. Stay away from “Dry texters”, these kind of people can figure out a problem in everything that’s soothing to your head or heart. The thing is, they are just not interested in you. The earlier you understand, the better. Read more on this by clicking here. In general, every conversation with a dry texter is a pointless nonsense, it’s going nowhere. If communication sucks, just cut it or back off humbly.
3. Also stay away from those whose screen time in instagram is more than 4 minutes a day. (Most successful people don’t even use such apps in their phone, they have hired agencies to keep fools stuck to create a brand value for their name. And i bet you don’t want a fool in your life).
4. If someone’s social circle is too random, that’s a sign of major inconsistency in their personality.
5. Never believe those who say bullshits like; “MONEY IS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL, I WOULD RATHER FOCUS ON LOVE OR FAMILY”. These are the double whammy of fickleness & fake ideology. We are living in 2021, a happy LOVE & a happy FAMILY both come with a bill.
Enough said about what not to. Click here to read a previous post on what are the green signals of a healthy humanly equation. Hope you have a good one.
