A shark in a fish tank will grow 8 inches, but in the ocean it will grow 8 ft or more. The shark will never out grow its environment, and the same is true about you. Many times we’re around small thinking people, so we don’t grow. Change your environment and watch your growth.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Watch it to know something new about the world we live.)
I love my own company and i enjoy being alone, a lot, but I am very outgoing and social. My environment dictates how I behave. Very often I’m loud, sometimes I’m quiet. I read the energy and adjust. There are times when I want to turn up and then there are moments where I want to read a good book, watch a whole BuzzFeed unsolved season or some documentary on science/technology/engineering, sometimes i drive till everything in gauge cluster turns red, or i just spend time processing my thoughts, all alone. My personality confuses people & i like that.
My ultimate goal is to be at peace with myself, eliminate toxic feelings and elements and energies from my life, unlearn negative and harmful practices and thought patterns, stop checking for people that don’t check for me, create a space for myself that is nurturing for growth so that I may generate loving energy for myself and for others, nourish my spirit and balance my energies, I have big dreams and i deserve to live a life I love and let that love radiate. Life is fun, let it be.
(Paragraph borrowed from a previous post).
If you know me based on who I was a year ago, you don’t know me at all. My growth game is impeccably strong.
Comparing yourself to others is a toxic human trait which does nothing but resulting in poor self-confidence. Perfection is an impossible idea and while it’s easy to say that “it’s okay to make mistakes” and “nobody’s perfect”. Sometimes it’s harder to apply those ideas to yourself. When you compare yourself to others, you’re doing everyone an injustice. If you focus on what makes you unique like your skills and potential only in comparison to other people, there will always be someone who outdoes you and you’ll always end up feeling bad.
Instead concentrate on where you are in your path of growth everyone learns different things at different paces at different times in their lives. Where you’re at is just as valid as where everyone else is.
Confidence is always available beyond comfort zone. Yesterday i was talking little bit about confident people. This next paragraph does the same.
Confident people don’t resist learning new things. People with confidence are lifelong Learners, even when they are experts in their field. They have a learner’s mindset. They know that there is so much more in life to achieve and so many ways to grow. They aren’t entrenched in old ways of doing things or old beliefs about what is right or best. They look for ways to stretch themselves through new endeavors. They don’t get too comfortable. Confident people understand that getting too comfortable is the mortal enemy of achieving goals. That’s because they know that comfort leads to contentment and contentment leads to stagnation when they start feeling comfortable. They take it as a red flag and start pushing their boundaries so that they continue to grow.
It’s impossible to have a belief that wouldn’t reflect in our actions. Truthfully our actions are surer proof what we really believe. In a life of meaningful impact is what you truly seek, then selflessness is a cardinal virtue you have to demonstrate continually. You should learn be accomodating, open & helpful to people even when you barely know them. When this becomes your life habit, it is proof that you have attained some form of growth, because truly matured people lead selfless lives – they are always ready to give & help the growth of others.
Expression of selflessness reveals our true intentions.
Doesn’t matter what’s your state of mind right now, learn to face your truth & responsibilities. We need to move forward in life always, don’t lapse it.
One tiny tip; do something for your financial stability. That’s gonna lift you higher on a longer run. Progress is the only pattern of life. Don’t smash your growth by holding yourself back in any negativity.
Indecisiveness causes insecurities. Insecurities cause self-doubt. You start expecting the worst, allowing yourself to take every wrong step & sabotage own growth in life.
Find a motive to live. Set a goal. Take decisions: stay stuck to it. If you can’t find reasons behind your actions/words/moves, don’t do it because they are bullshit. Be True to yourself first, everyone will acknowledge with time. Investment in self growth gratifies self-respect and self-esteem. Be a TRUE you.
Recent news suggests, Apple’s sales & revenue aren’t the same. & They will not remain the same. Apple can say anything as a counter, the truth is out. Apple isn’t actually declining right now, it’s just not growing anymore. Which is an pretty alarming situation for a consumer electronics company. They can blame China or any other such emerging markets. As a brand they are allowed to.
Furthermore let’s dig in..
Whenever i hear or see such pleas in their press releases by any brand. It just screams a cover up. Let em count one by one right now. It took only 4 years for Samsung to be the biggest smartphone brand to less than 1% market share in China. Apple now blaming trade war between China-USA & lower iPhones sale in China for it’s poor stock price. They even went further projecting a lesser revenue growth for first quarter of 2019. CEO Tim Cook wrote a nice letter to all investors. This is just a start of a burn. Being such a big cash-cow, they have enough resources to burn.
When you are a consumer electronics brand, you can’t slap your premium over the consumer always. Apple’s 67% revenue is generated from IPhone sales. I don’t know how they will do it. In case Apple really wants to survive as a brand of this century, they need to come up with the SE line up as they left. They badly need that one sub 4-500 dollar product in their catalogue once again. That’s the only thing, which will allow them to hover again towards that new growth chart in terms of acquiring new customers to the Apple-ecosystem.
Problems are many. Strategies need to be figured out as the time remains key.
What’s actually affecting Apple is something called innovation!! Actually lack of innovation. There is no such notable difference between it’s previous generation iPhones to current ones since iPhone 5S. If you are using iOS 12 in a iPhone SE or iPhone XS, there is hardly much to discuss about the user experience between both. I may rather suggest touch ID over face ID, because that works bang on each time. They launched iOS 13 just before a day & now there is a list of unsupported Apple products including the same amount of unhappy customers with outdated devices in their hand who will not receive the latest software update. They have to deal with tons of electronic waste under their recycling program. I just hope all works for the better.
I don’t have any love or hate towards APPLE as a brand, I am just saying everything from a investor’s point of view.
