I have outgrown many things. I have outgrown relatives who gladly offer criticism but not support. I have outgrown my need to meet my family’s unrealistic expectations of me. I have outgrown people who wear masks and secretly rejoice at my misfortunes. (Not the corona situation face mask). I have outgrown shrinking myself for those who are intimidated by my intelligence and outspoken nature. I have outgrown friends who cannot celebrate my accomplishments. I have outgrown people who conveniently disappear whenever life gets a little dark. I have outgrown those who take pleasure in gossiping and spreading negativity. I have outgrown dull, meaningless conversations that feel forced. I hate smalltalk. I have outgrown those who don’t take a stand against ignorance and injustice. I have outgrown trying to please everyone. I have outgrown society constantly telling me I’m not beautiful, smart or worthy enough. I have outgrown my tendency to fill my mind with self doubt and insecurity. I have outgrown trying to find reasons not to love myself. I have outgrown anything and anyone that does not enrich the essence of my soul. I have outgrown many things. And I’ve never felt freer. (Not my words).
The goal is to become an upgraded version of my real self & a better HUMAN BEING every next day of this life. And i am connected to everyone who’s a part of that journey. If we have a steady flow of communication, you are celebrated in my books. There’s no WONDER without some WONDERFUL people in life. SOMETIMES LIFE SEEMS UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE YOUR OLD LIFE DOESN’T FIT ON YOU ANYMORE. YOU’VE OUTGROWN THE OLD YOU.
Some days will always be harder than others. Be patient with yourself; you have won many battles but the war will take time. You can be seventeen or seventy and still make mistakes. Try not to punish yourself too much over them. You will compare yourself to others, everyone does it, but try to remember someone compares themselves to you too.
Be kinder to the thoughts in your head; you are thinking them for a reason. There will always be that person who you gave your whole and it still wasn’t enough. But you will always be enough for yourself. And when all’s said and done, that’s the person who lives your life. That’s the person you have to impress.
Be a friend to yourself, not an enemy. (Not my words)
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. See it for the fun. And YES that’s the reason i never buy anything from H&M or Zara).
Look around you. How many people do you think are settling? Probably a hell of a lot. People settle into okay relationships, okay jobs, okay friends, and an okay life. Why? Because okay is comfortable. Okay pays the bills, and provides a warm bed at night. Some people are fine with okay, and guess what? That’s okay. But okay is not thrilling, it isn’t passion, it’s not life changing or unforgettable. Okay is not the reason you risk absolutely everything you’ve got for the smallest chance that something absolutely amazing could happen. Okay isn’t fun.
You have this one life. How do you wanna spend it? Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating yourself? Running after people who don’t care for you? Be brave to say NO to this OKAY. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good. You have this one life. Make yourself proud.
Never ever feel like “I don’t have a choice”. No matter how tough a situation may seem, you always have choices and while you might feel overwhelmed or not brave enough to consider them all, you always have options to choose from to help you make the right choice.
You can think about what advice you would give to a friend in a similar situation or what someone you admire. You take this into account and see if you can do the same. Life is always about right choices.
What makes people trust you? Less so than your true reliability or assets, warmth is a crucial factor in establishing trust. People are more open to trusting those who portray themselves warmly in a non-competitive and friendly truthful manner. This theory is known as stereotype content model. It suggests that people are more likely to judge people based on their warmth than anything else, even intelligence and financial status.
While knowledge and money can earn you respect, warmth will elicit trust. Earn trust with warmth.
How many times have you felt losing your mojo towards people pretty quick!! Not talking about just some romantic bullshit, i am talking about friends or acquaintances. People turn boring when they stop adding some value/goodness to our life. Most think their social media presence & possessions are attractive. I low-key hate every single one who wants to build clout over instagram or tiktok just by following some trend, they are all generic crap in my eyes. Every pretty face will be replaced by another prettier face one day, that’s the reality of our world.
Want to show me you are fun & exciting!?! Let’s talk business, money, growth, technology, automobile, literature, workout, baking, real estate, career plans or if it’s a casual conversation tell me your taste in music with why so!! Life is small & exciting if you are on a journey to achieve something. Your goals make you gorgeous in my eyes. The same life can feel long & boring if you get along with people who don’t have much going on, same applicable on you for that matter. At the end i can say; people remain boring & mediocre out of own choice, it’s not any other person’s responsibility to point out that nonsense. Figure out & fetch your dreams. Life is fun, let it be.
Gut feelings is something you should not ignore while making difficult decisions. People often tell you to just listen to your gut. We all have a sort of sixth sense and knowing what is right or wrong and whether or not the decision we are making is a good one. All of the information that you process subconsciously triggers a physical response that you shouldn’t ignore. These feelings are the most primal of impulses and evolutionary end. It’s hardwired into us and their main purpose is to protect us. It’s very important not to dismiss warning signs from your subconscious as it picks up much more about the environment around you than your conscious mind does and it can help you make better decisions. So here few examples on how to work on your feelings.
Being drawn to someone is common. There are positive gut instincts you should pay attention to. One of them is the urge to help another person. Even if there isn’t an obvious reason why someone would need your help. Your brain picks up on body language, tone and other indicators that can suggest the opposite. It doesn’t cost anything to ask someone if you can help them in some way. Besides it’s human instinct to help others and make a difference for someone if we can. Other times you may get the feeling that someone could just be the key to accomplishing some goal or dream. You have your gut tells you that this person will be important in your life whether it’s as a friend, romantic partner or business partner. Getting to know them could lead to an amazing opportunity. If you feel this pull towards someone, you should probably act on it & strike up a conversation and see where it leads.
