One of my favourite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way trough how much you enjoy them and their existence.
Things are expected of you of your whole life, you are expected to make career, that you score well and have achieved a certain status. But life is not about status and work. These are extras.
What matters is that you can develop as a person. That you simply learn, discover and enjoy your journey. So instead of worrying about the numbers and status, you have to enjoy the journey and the small moments that can mean so much more.
I don’t want to be around people anymore that judge or talk about what people do. I want to be around people that do things. I want to be around people who believe in slow & steady progress. I want to be with people who gradually grow a rich character and a bank account. I want to be around people who remain consistent with their words, approach, intentions & journey of life. I want to be around people that dream and support and do things.
Supportive people bond long-term with growth mindset. Oppertunist comes to score petty short-term goals, it takes time but you will get rid of them today or tomorrow. (Not my words.)
You can’t skip chapters, that’s not how life works. You have to read every line, meet every character. You won’t enjoy all of it. Hell, some chapters will make you cry for weeks. You will read things you don’t want to read, you will have moments when you don’t want the pages to end. But you have to keep going.
Stories keep the world revolving. Live your story, don’t miss out.
Now this paragraph is for my close friends. The question is; “Was i angry on Frank?” Answer is: No, i laughed at his tiny mind in November-2019. I was applying for PhD research scholar positions in Berlin. New city for me, Frank took me & few friends to an EXOTIC CAR MEET-UP, that too in a Dacia Duster. Not judging the car, any Dacia or VW is a good daily driver. But, I was laughing at the idea of going to an EXOTIC CAR MEET-UP in a DACIA DUSTER.😂
(No matter how much i praise a Tesla, i am a petrolhead by heart. I am a sucker for all AMG & BMW M-series cars, manual rear wheel drive please.)
Stop comparing where you’re at with where everyone else is. It doesn’t move you farther ahead, improve your situation, or help you find peace. It just feeds your shame, fuels your feelings of inadequacy, and ultimately it keeps you stuck. The reality is that, there is no one on correct path in life. Everyone has their own unique journey. A path that’s right for someone else won’t necessarily be a path that’s right for you. And that’s okay.
Your journey isn’t right or wrong, or good or bad. It’s just different. Your life isn’t meant to look like anyone else’s because you aren’t like anyone else. You’re a person with all your own with a unique set of goals, obstacles, dreams, and needs.
So stop comparing, and start living. You may not have ended up where you intended to go. But trust, for once, that you have ended up where you needed to be. Trust that you are in the right place at the right time. Trust that your life is enough. Trust that you are enough. Enjoy the ride. Life is fun. Let it be.
Every moment of your life is deeply meaningful and plays a significant part in your journey. A lot of time we judge the moment because things don’t go our way but if you look life backwards you understand that those moments made you evolve and brought a shift in your consciousness. Whatever you are going through right now will not make sense to your human mind. You can’t comprehend the life order of universe through logic. But sooner or later all the dots will connect and you will realize that everything was concerned all along.
So instead of judging the moment learn to embrace every moment. Your higher self/consciousness is all about trusting the divine and seeing the deeper truth in every moment. Trust can only come from a place of surrender. Surrendering doesn’t mean you let go of free will. It simply means you let go of the things that are not under your control. Instead of flowing against the current of the river you become the flow. Enjoy every moment & everything is connected, it’s for your higher good.
We always hear “Slow and steady wins the race”, and though I love this idea. I actually love the idea of slowing down to savor the little moments in life even more. Living in our fast-paced world today, it’s easy to get into a busy routine and sometimes we literally don’t have time to catch our breath. Not only is this not healthy for our bodies and our stress levels, but it takes the joy out of whatever we’re doing.
I’ve found that time goes quickly, and if I don’t stop and slow down, I miss the little moments. So whatever place you’re rushing to or goal you are rushing to get, remember to enjoy the process too, otherwise what’s the point?
When you start to get wrapped up in your busy life, pause, take ten deep breaths, and try meditating or doing something that calms you down. STAY STRONG & STAY CONSISTENT WITH THE WAY YOU ARE. (Not my words).
As you move forward, I hope you have the courage to do things differently, to be the kind of person who takes the risk, to be the kind of person who leads with their heart and shows up in their life with a ruthless dedication to learning, growing and enjoying the hell out of their moments here consistenly. DISCIPLINE & CONSISTENCY with your approach are the two tools which can empower you, make you stand out of the crowd in the race of becoming a better Human.
I hope you have the courage to never let comfort or apprehension convince you that you are better off staying still. I hope you have the courage to trust the part of yourself that knows there’s more out there for you, the part of yourself that is easy to quiet when you’re trying to live by the rules and the expectations of a world that has bred so much dissatisfaction and sadness. I hope you have the courage to trust the part of yourself that seeks freedom from those trends, from those boundaries, and I hope you have the courage to go after whatever it is that genuinely makes you want to get up in the morning. I hope you have the courage to find the things in life that ignite you and deepen your understanding of the world and those within it. I hope you have the courage to fight for a future that inspires you, even if it doesn’t look the way you thought it would. I hope you have the courage to change. I hope you have the courage to trust in the person you’re becoming. (Not my words).
Life will always be filled with ups and downs. It’s the law of nature. Yin and yang, light and dark. It’s the nature of life and it’s okay. We must embrace the duality inherent within life. Without night, there is no day. Without male, there is no female. Without black, there is no white. Without negative, there is no positive.
Spending your life trying to make every thing be light only creates suffering. Spending your energy to only hold on to light is not freedom. We must learn to embrace the darkness, and in doing so, we transform ourselves. In accepting the nature of life, we accept what is and what isn’t and experience freedom. Life will always have expansion and contraction. When you stop seeking for perfection outside in the constantly changing world and realize that inside you is the ultimate perfection, that your soul is perfect beyond duality, beyond good or bad-when you understand that, you are free. Truly free. You see that life is perfect even in its seeming imperfection. Peace is an inside job. Don’t look for peace in the world because you won’t find. You can’t truly be free until you deal with the duality of life, to come into a harmonious relationship with what it is. Learn to dance with the reality of life.
This post is my little respect to those who enjoy traveling.
Traveling messes you up, but in all the good ways. It leaves you craving more, an addiction that can never quite be met. Every place, every trip, every person is a new unexpected adventure; pulling you deeper into the love of wanderlust. Your heart begins to hurt when you’re standing still, and your mind begins to itch over the idea of new places you haven’t been. Fill your soul with adventure and traveling and you will live a fulfilled life.
Why once you’ve traveled for the first time all you want to do is leave again!! They call it the travel bug, but really it’s the urge to return to a place where you are surrounded by people who share common interests & speak the same language as you do. Not English or Spanish or German, but that language where others know what it’s like to leave, change, grow, experience, learn, then go back home again and feel more lost in your hometown then you did in the most foreign place you visited. Missing few of my stupid university mates while typing this post. Grateful for the days which always pop up as memories in my Google photos.
I am a big petrolhead, but i also prefer a silent calm environment with less noise & pollution. Cities are beautiful because of it’s people, so it’s always our responsibility to make it more sustainable.
