Despite what you may believe, you can disappoint people and still be good enough. You can make mistakes and still be capable and talented. You can let people down and still be worthwhile and deserving of love.
Everyone has disappointed someone they care about. Everyone messes up, lets people down, and makes mistakes.
Not because we’re inadequate or fundamentally inept, but because we’re imperfect and fundamentally HUMAN. Expecting anything different is setting yourself up for failure. Also remember; committing the same mistake twice is not the sign of a healthy mind. Keep that in mind & keep moving forward. (Not my words).
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Stopping a mother from dropping her kid to school is the worst kinda crap you can slap on someone in the name of protecting environment. Sometimes people go bit too far with these environmental protection related protests. You aren’t allowed to deteriorate normal people’s life. Insulate Britain, protest in front of government officials or government offices where words can reach the right place.)
You deserve the affection that you kept trying to pour into others. You deserve the same motivation that you tried to inspire in others. You deserve the high of happy, without the low of sadness. You deserve the joy of being spoiled, without the catch of having to repay. You deserve the relaxation of trust, without the paranoia of betrayal. You deserve to be confident, without the reminder to be humble. You deserve to look at your reflection with eyes of awe, not judgment. You deserve to be held forever, not for a night. You deserve to be first, second, and third. You deserve to have everything you want. You deserve this power. It is who you are and who you will always be. BE YOU FOR THE SAKE OF YOURSELF. VIBE WITH YOUR TRIBE.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. 20 rules for young men, i guess it’s a must watch for everyone irrespective of gender.)
You have to chase the things that ignite you. You have to do the things that bring you joy. You have to surround yourself with the people who bring you back home to yourself, with the people who respect you and embrace you in ways that make you feel like you are worthy and accepted and celebrated and loved. You have do the work to heal yourself, even when it hurts especially when it hurts, so that you do not continue to approach your life within the boundary of what is heavy within you. You have to put yourself out there, and you cannot worry about what other people think, you cannot rob yourself of experience or happiness or inspiration because you are scared of how you will be perceived. You have to be unapologetic in the way that you exist here. You have to believe that your ideas, and your hope, and your being, deserve to take up space. You have to believe that you have purpose.
Because our existence is finite. And as hard as that is to understand, as hard as that can be to connect with, from time to time remind yourself that in the most human way we are all living on borrowed time. We live as if we are promised the experiences and the potential we are chasing, we live as if we have control over what happens to us. But we don’t, and that is liberating, because it is pressing there is urgency within the lesson. It is meant to wake you up. Life is meant to be lived. (Not my words).
You deserve happiness. I mean real happiness. The kind of happiness that makes your heart fill with warmth. And you deserve to feel what it feels like to be fulfilled. To feel like the world isn’t against you. To feel like you aren’t constantly treading water just to keep from drowning. More than anything, you deserve to be okay.
And I know it’s hard to hear this, especially when the world around isn’t doing great, especially when you are so far away from loving yourself. But I still want you to know, “because one day, you are going to feel great again, one day you are going to feel happy again”. It’s just a matter of time. Sometimes the best thing you can do is, not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, keep on doing you and have faith that everything will work out for the best. TIME heals everything.
The hardest part about wanting something real is trying to convince everybody you’re not crazy for feeling like you deserve it. But then you realize, you don’t have to prove anything to anybody.
All you have to do is… Be patient enough to make it right. Be committed enough to make it strong. Be honest enough to make it last. Us genuine ones deserve something great, we deserve something authentic. And we reserve the right not to be impressed with the usual. It’s not about being too picky or having unrealistic expectations, it’s about knowing you’ve dealt with enough of the BS and you’ve earned the right to have a preference.
Stay true to you, even when nobody gets it. Trust your heart, even when you’re scared. Believe in love, even after you’ve been hurt. Things get better the minute we stop expecting them to be perfect. Timing is everything, so always remember: Some amazing things can happen when you mix patience with hope.
There is nothing like “SETTLE DOWN” for something. And never settle for mediocre. Self-assured people have a vision of what they want and they go for it. Let’s say CONFIDENT PEOPLE for better understanding. They don’t hold back & allow their fears to keep them from trying. They push themselves to go above and beyond. They set the bar high for themselves and demand excellence. They know they are as deserving of the best in both work and life.
Confidence is SEXY & you are the most expensive person in your life. People often forget to look at mirror & say “YOU DESERVE THE BEST”.
This video on Donald Dump got nothing to do with today’s post. Sad to see couple of dumbfucks still believing in voter fraud garbage what this orange piece of shit pukes. While claiming to be world’s oldest strongest democracy, America has shown last week that there is a new breed of homegrown terrorists blooming. I don’t believe in religion, race or nationalism. Hope people will rise above all to cherish humanity one day.
