True me.. Tap-737..

Don’t COMPARE your actual self to a hypothetical self.
Don’t drown in a sea of ‘what if’s.
Don’t clutter your mind by imagining other versions of you, in parallel universes, where you made different decisions, don’t PROCRASTINATE, because they don’t have much relevance left in your current situation.

The internet age encourages choice and comparison, but don’t do this to yourself.
‘Comparison is the thief of joy’, said Theodore Roosevelt.
You are you.
The past is the past.
The only way to make a better life is from inside the present.
To focus on regret does nothing but turn that very present into another thing you will wish you did differently.
Accept your own reality.
Be human enough to make mistakes.
Be human enough not to dread the future.
Be human enough to be, well, enough.
Accepting where you are in life makes it so much easier to be happy for other people without feeling terrible about yourself.

You carry so much love in your heart.
It’s time to give some LOVE to yourself.
No one is you, and that’s your SUPERPOWER.
EMBRACE YOURSELF.

True me.. Tap-683..

Some days will always be harder than others. Be patient with yourself; you have won many battles but the war will take time. You can be seventeen or seventy and still make mistakes. Try not to punish yourself too much over them. You will compare yourself to others, everyone does it, but try to remember someone compares themselves to you too.

Be kinder to the thoughts in your head; you are thinking them for a reason. There will always be that person who you gave your whole and it still wasn’t enough. But you will always be enough for yourself. And when all’s said and done, that’s the person who lives your life. That’s the person you have to impress.

Be a friend to yourself, not an enemy.

MOST DIFFICULT YET COMFORTING THINGS TO ACCEPT ABOUT LIFE.

1. Everyone is insecure about something. It’s not just you.

2. You will never be 100% sure about decisions you made. But always make a decision because it’s better to go back and fix it than to never make it at all.

3. There is always someone better than you. So there’s no point to compare.

4. There’s nothing in life you can really control except your own thoughts and actions. So always hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

5. Nothing lasts forever. Things change. people change. And YOU can change anytime too.

6. Life is not a fairy tale. That’s why it’s always exciting and you’ll never be bored.

7. Hard work doesn’t guarantee success. But That’s what makes it challenging & fun.

Comparing yourself to others is a toxic human trait which does nothing but resulting in poor self-confidence. Perfection is an impossible idea and while it’s easy to say that “it’s okay to make mistakes” and “nobody’s perfect”. Sometimes it’s harder to apply those ideas to yourself. When you compare yourself to others, you’re doing everyone an injustice. If you focus on what makes you unique like your skills and potential only in comparison to other people, there will always be someone who outdoes you and you’ll always end up feeling bad.

Instead concentrate on where you are in your path of growth everyone learns different things at different paces at different times in their lives. Where you’re at is just as valid as where everyone else is.

Starting today’s post from where i left yesterday.
Nothing of true value is created without a patient mindset. Reward comes with being patient. No matter how long it takes if you are persistently consistent to sow the seeds of hardwork and time, the reward will eventually be yours. You have to continue to persist, and make decisions that are consistent with your goals. Focus on the process, and do your best every single day. Don’t get caught up in comparing yourself to others who are seemingly achieving more. If you truly understand your worth, you won’t bother with comparisons.

Hardwork eventually pays off, even if it takes time. You have to be patient.
